Planet Pocock

Katie recently got some pure, unadulterated Ben time, which is now why she calls him "My Benny". We played around in Katie's room and made a mess, and even got to hang out at the zoo! It was a fun day with beautiful weather!

We had a wonderful time with a pre-Trick-or-Treat Halloween shindig with Liz and the kids with Halloween fare! I made a tasty Graveyard Cake. Vicky was SuperGirl, Ben was Buzz Lightyear, and Katie was a strawberry! Even though it was a little chilly/windy, we had a wonderful time. We got Katie to say "Trick or Treat!" and then she would say "Thank you! More?" and of course, everyone would say how adorable she was and give her 3 more pieces. Or, on a number of occasions, she would just stick her hand into the candy bowl herself and take more pieces out! Ha. What a fun time!

On Saturday October 17th we bundled up the kids and took our yearly trip to the Fleitz Pumpkin Farm in Oregon. These kids are three of the biggest reasons I get up in the morning (five if you include Liz and Matt) :) We had an amazing time and are looking forward to carving our poonkins/punkins/pumpkins and look forward to next year's trip as well!

Katie, Matt, and I enjoyed some of the lovely fall weather with a ride on the beep-beep, playing ball, and eventually a delicious apple. Yum!
